Honorary Chairman Datuk Kenn is the founding member of CAFD and has extensive international businesses in medical, hospitality, retail & property development. He also founded OOHM! Which is one of the largest outdoor digital media company in Malaysia. Datuk Kenn was a developer of the Serai Saujana golf-residential estate and co-owner of the SohoKL property and investment company. Currently he is also the managing director of U-Tunes.

Vice President Mr. Tri Dao Phuc is a pioneer in the media and entertainment industry in Vietnam. He co-founded Yeah1 Group, one of the largest fully integrated, multi-channel media company in Vietnam, and is the current Chief Executive Officer of the group.
Mr. Tri pioneered in producing 3 pay TV-Channels namely YEAH1TV, ImovieTV and YEAH1Family and is the key player in the acquisition of TNT Media, an agency company with over 16 TV channels hence expanding Yeah-One’s media assets tremendously.

Vice President Darren Choy, the current managing director of Warner Music Malaysia with more than 30 years of experience in the music industry. His plan is to bring music and fashion together to create a bigger cultural impact in the South East Asian region. Currently, Mr. Choy is the Vice Chairman of Public Performance Malaysia Bhd. (PPM) and a director and council member of the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM).
Secretary Dato Tan is a Member of the Bar Council of Malaysia and a prominent corporate lawyer specializing in M&As. Dato Tan sits on the board as a Director of of multiple public listed companies in both Malaysia and Hong Kong Stock Exchange including Protasco Berhad, Central Industrial Corporation Berhad and Earnest Investment Holdings Limited.
Treasurer An experienced finance man with decades of experience in financial institutions and carries multiple accreditations to his name. Datuk Mohd Idris Isa was formerly the Director of Bank Rakyat, Executive Director for Arab Malaysian Bank, Group Chief Internal Auditor for MBF Holdings. Upon retirement, he was the Chief Internal Auditor for Bank Negara Malaysia Alumni.
China Advisor Chenguang Liu is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Film and Television Department of China International Cultural Communi-cation Center, and Secretary General of China Russia International Ball, China Affairs Adviser of World Dancing Council. Liu is also a jury of 2017 Miss China Pageant and a proud member of the West-ern Returned Scholars Association.

Indonesia Country Counselor Poppy Dharsono is a well-known businesswoman with numerous high positions in the industry. She was awarded the title “Javanese woman of the 21st century” and is recognized as one of the top prominent senior fashion designers, models, artists, and celebrities for more than 40 years. In 1993 she founded and is currently President of the Indonesian Entrepreneur Fashion Designers Association. For the last 10 years she is the President of Indonesia Fashion Week and for 9 years, President of Ramadan Runway. Her unique creative designs have been on countless national and international runways since 1977, while her deep understanding of her country’s cultural heritage will forever label her as the guru of Indonesian Fashion.
Thailand Country Counselor Hailing from the Northeastern province of Buriram, Wisharawish Akarasantisook rises to become one of Thailand’s most promising young designers in the early 2010s. Brunei Country Counselor Mr Johan is the Chief Corporate Strategy Officer for Progresif Sdn. Bhd, a Bruneian Telecommunications Provider – well known for supporting Bruneian entrepreneurship, arts & culture and environmental causes. He is responsible for the long term vision of the company to deliver an enhanced digital lifestyle for the Bruneian population, in line with the Brunei Government’s Objectives. Previously he was a Senior Investment Advisor responsible for the Logistics and Defense portfolio of Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd, a holding company for the Government of Brunei Darussalam to own and manage Government-Linked Companies (GLCs).

By submitting information or using the CAFD (COUNCIL OF ASEAN FASHION DESIGNERS) platform, you acknowledge, agree and consent that your personal information (as defined below) will be handled as described in this privacy policy, which is incorporated by reference into the Software End User License and Services Agreement for CAFD.
CAFD protects your personal information by strictly complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”), the primary legislation concerning data protection in Malaysia.
“Personal information” is information that you provide to CAFD, which personally identifies you, such as your name, national identity card or passport number, age, birth date, gender, race, nationality, occupation, mobile or fixed line number, residential or work address, IP address, e-mail address, credit card information, bank account details and certain information regarding the User/Licensee’s use of the Software, internet browsing and surfing habits, or any other information which may be deemed personal information under the applicable law. CAFD collects personal information from you only when you choose to register for and/ or use our services through the CAFD Platform. When you provide your personal information to us using CAFD, we receives and stores this information in order to respond to your using needs and requests.
We may collect your personal information when you submit an application to be our our customer or when you make enquiries to our website; when you register or subscribe to any of our or our partner’s product, services or newsletter; when you participate in our surveys; lodge any complaint with us; register an interest or visit or browse our website; provide feedback to us or respond to any marketing materials that we send out.
We protect the security of the User’s personal information during transmission by using a high level encryption technique. When using CAFD, it is also very important for the User to protect against unauthorised access to the User’s password to the User’s computer and/or mobile device. By using the CAFD Platform, you agree that CAFD shall be entitled to advise you via email, post, telephone or by text of products, services and other offers we think may interest you. Whenever you provide CAFD with personal information, you will be given an option to inform us that you withhold consent from sharing such information for marketing and promotion purposes. Unless you specify otherwise, you indicate your consent to such uses.
